Daria Koltsova is a multidisciplinary Ukrainian artist working across installation, public art interventions, performance, and participatory practice. Her work unfolds at the intersection of memory, material culture, and the politics of perception, examining how individuals and communities reshape reality in order to remain within it — how gestures of protection, repetition, concealment, and ritual become strategies of survival.

The installation is composed of a found kiosk from Eastern Europe whose windows and postcard racks are filled with stained-glass “postcards,” each depicting a Ukrainian landscape on the edge of extinction. The artist used photographs of transforming Ukrainian landscapes she took herself as well as sourced from friends or found on social media and transformed them into minimalist fragments — simplified to a visual code, a composition of stripes and colours — that become a window to the world. What is a postcard, if not a symbolic piece of land that can be preserved, carried and shared — a portable fragment of home that saves it from disappearance? Once ubiquitous during the artist’s childhood in her native Ukraine, kiosks formed informal meeting and trading places of everyday life. They started to disappear in recent years, but during the war they once again became meeting points and places of exchange. Found in a junk yard and repurposed into an installation, the kiosk itself is an architectural remnant from home, another repository for memory.

Koltsova was nominated for the PinchukArtPrize (2015) and received the MUHi Award (2015), the Gaudi Polonia Polish Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2017), and the Kaiserring Scholarship from the Mönchehaus Museum Goslar (2023–2024). In 2026 she became a laureate of the international program “Les artistes émergents d’ici et d’ailleurs” by Fond Porosus and Thanks for Nothing. Selected institutional solo exhibitions include Mönchehaus Museum Goslar (2023); Art Encounters Foundation, Timișoara (2023); Museum Ludwig, Cologne (2023); and Albertina Modern, Vienna (2022). Selected group exhibitions include Kyiv Biennial, Lentos Kunstmuseum, Linz (2024); Kunsthaus Graz, Graz (2023); MO.CO Montpellier (2022); Museum of Contemporary Art, Goslar (2022); and the Odesa Biennale, Museum of Contemporary Art, Odesa.

Dedicated to showcasing conceptual art practices from Eastern and Central Europe, SUPRAINFINIT represents emerging, mid-career, and established artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. The gallery engages both local and international audiences through a wide range of media, with a strong commitment to newly commissioned works and large-scale installations. It plays a key role in Bucharest’s cultural ecosystem and contributes significantly to the artistic landscape of Eastern Europe. In addition to its exhibitions, SUPRAINFINIT prioritises public programming that deepens and expands curatorial and artistic visions.
