A magnificent installation by Andrea Geyer in the Magasins of OFFSCREEN — not to be missed.

A tiny projection in a giant cathedral, as part of the very impressive OFFSCREEN Paris.

The gallery is very happy with its first participation and that Boris Mikhailov’s major series of 49 hand painted silver gelatin prints, Arles, Paris… (1989) was acquired by a private collection, and will remain in France. OFFSCREEN’s format offers a unique and very different proposal from the classical art fair, not only for the visitors but also for the participating galleries. Julien, Allyn and their team succeeded to create a friendly and stimulating space of dialogue between galleries and institutions from all over the world. We met many museum directors and curators and are looking forward to continuing the conversations that started in the chapel.

OFFSCREEN is open — and great.

This was the gallery’s first time participating in OFFSCREEN, where we presented Ibrahim Mahama’s monumental and deeply significant installation, Voli-ni. The presentation offered a visual continuation of his current exhibition at the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, ‘The Harvest Season’. OFFSCREEN provided an excellent opportunity to establish new connections, particularly with institutional partners, and to strengthen existing relationships. We look forward to returning next year.

A very interesting art fair, with Giovanni Ozzola’s work receiving a great deal of appreciation from the public and collectors. Our gallery is very open to curatorial initiatives and public projects, which is why we wanted to participate in this fair for the first time. It stands out for its quality and the depth with which it explores the role of art in the contemporary world, especially in its cultural dimension.

OFFSCREEN is a different kind of fair, one that brings the experience of an exhibition together with the intimacy of meaningful encounters. Its exceptional curation and presentation create the time and space for genuine conversations with curators, collectors, institutions and museums. But what makes it truly special is its team, whose personal involvement turn introductions into real connections. It’s a place where art is not simply presented, but given the attention it deserves.

Truly one of the most stimulating shows I’ve seen. There is an unparalleled tension between the chapel’s contemplative atmosphere and the thoughtfully curated installation within it.

There was a palpable sense of excitement at OFFSCREEN […]. Each artist personally selected by artistic director Julien Frydman, who, through his vision, has created one of the most immersive, moving art experiences of the entire week. Maybe even the year.

At OFFSCREEN, you can’t beat the level. And not just because there are eight floors in the disused Haussmann garage. […] there are the galleries (Rolf Art, Zander, Binome, Toluca, Anita Beckers…) and the works that pop in this underground environment […].

In this raw concrete setting, we discover projects by 28 international artists and a wide variety of media: videos, films, photographs, installations, digital art… proof that images can get out of the box! The highlight of the show is Chantal Akerman’s sublime solo show (Galerie Marian Goodman).

OFFSCREEN offers an immersive journey through a brutalist structure where each work seems to question the very notion of visual temporality.

Last but not least, another relatively new fair that collectors seemed to have appreciated was OFFSCREEN, which took place not far from the Grand Palais at Grand Garage Haussmann.
